About Us
Children are born with an innate sense for creativity – it is my goal at Creative Arts Childcare to foster a child’s creativity in a warm and nurturing environment. Everyday at CAC is filled with creativity for your child through the use of the creative arts, which include; dramatic play, movement, visual arts, music and outdoor adventures.
At CAC I care for children from 6 weeks to school age – and introduce even our youngest to the benefits of the arts. Below is a sample of our programming for all ages:
Not only will your child benefit from the creative arts at CAC, but he or she will also feel right at home in our in-home setting. A home environment will make your child feel comfortable – what I hope is a home away from home. I view each child in my care as an extended part of my own family! Our playroom is designed to be a place to build your child’s imagination and to create a calming environment. Certain areas are designed to be “alone” spaces for relaxation and others are meant to stimulate dramatic play and creative learning.
I also hope to introduce your child to early learning – their ABC’s, 123’s, colors, and other basics skills to help them on their way towards Kindergarten. Each day at CAC is structured with a Circle Time – where we learn our months, days of the week, focus on counting, a letter of the week, and discussion of our weekly themes.
For my younger children I provide plenty of time to explore their development with a focus on core areas each day: fine motor, cognitive, gross motor, language arts, and sensory play.
Your child will feel right at home at Creative Arts Childcare where imaginations flourish!
